I met Jo, Tania and Rob at one of our REFORM! DJ parties at Kitcheners in Braamfontein (the 2nd oldest bar in Johannesburg) about a year ago. They wrote all their requests on business cards that I eventually found in my DJ bag a few weeks later (they were all top order requests, I’ll add). After a bit of digging I discovered that their company, PAST EXPERIENCES, host amazing tours of Johannesburg.
Jo has history & archeology degrees longer than my arm and is currently studying her masters in ‘Conservation of the built environment’. Her knowledge on the city is legendary.
I’ll be attending my first Past Experiences tour on the 27th of July. The Bellevue & Yoeville tour on the 17th of August is also calling my name…
